The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining:

• All streets, alleys and public parking lots within the city limits.
• The sanitary and storm water sewer systems.
• The non motorized Sunrise Trail system
• Memorial Park Cemetery
• Parks:
  • Lakeside Park
  • Westminster Park
  • Sports Park
  • Seagull Point Park
  • Trout River Park
  • North and South Shore Parks
  • Little League Park
  • Optimist Park
