Anytime is a great time to experience the fun and beauty of Rogers City. There is something for everyone on Lake Huron's northern shore and the autumn of 2010 in “Huron Country” has as much sizzle, with gorgeous fall colors lighting up the landscape, as it does relaxation.

One of this fall's featured attractions is the annual Fall Festival, taking place September 17, 18 and 19. Craft enthusiasts will find a bazaar of fun in Westminster Park as art & craft vendors from across Michigan display their wares. There will also be a Farmers Market section of the park and "Garage Sailors" will find a treasure trove of items to chose from as they make their way through the picturesque neighborhoods during the City-Wide Garage Sale as well as the upscale galleries in the downtown.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find paradise in the autumn sunshine. P.H. Hoeft State Park has over a mile of frontage on Lake Huron and is a beachcombers delight. Offshore, anglers will discover world-class sport fishing as well as many diving opportunities, with many pristine shipwrecks to explore.

 

Rogers City has beautiful accomodations for travelers and the finest home-made food products, including custom made sausages and carefully crafted hams that bring shoppers from far and wide. The many restaurants in the area offer a wide variety of menu choices, from gourmet coffee and tea to quick snacks and buffets as well as a fine dining experience.
