Harbor View

Owned and maintained by Carmeuse Lime and Stone Operations, Harbor View is a favorite of visitors to the area, providing an excellent vantage point of the largest open pit mine in the world as well as the large Great Lakes freighters that are loaded with limestone at its docks. The park includes interpretive signage and a viewing platform, providing an even greater vantage point. The limestone operation also can be witnessed a few miles south, on Business US-23, at the Quarry View turnout.
