Planning Commission


Responsibilities of the Planning Commission
To develop a vision for the City of Rogers City that will promote and preserve the community’s quality of life, social institutions, and natural resources while planning for economic expansion and optimum land use and management through:
  • Implementing and updating the City Master Plan and Zoning Ordinances
  • Cooperation with other area organizations with similar goals
  • Balancing the interests of all land owners and residents with the rights of the individual
  • Fair and consistent review of development proposals by considering and acting on
    • special land uses
    • site plan reviews
    • plats
    • capital improvement planning and review

Meeting Times and Locations
Meetings are the fourth Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
